5 Things that Give Me Travel Inspiration

I may not be traveling much these days (until I graduate), but I always find time for inspiration even when I’m not on the road. While most people find inspiration through platforms like Pinterest or Instagram, I look elsewhere. In fact, I rarely go online to get the travel bug. Where exactly am I looking for inspiration? I’m not necessarily talking about a where since I don’t have to even leave home to get the urge to travel. There are many items throughout my home, specifically in my bookshelves and the kitchen. 5 Lessons from Sustainability Podcasts

One thing has been adding up on my phone. It’s not the e-mails I need to respond to. It’s the number of podcasts that have added up since I started another semester at graduate school. In the past, I found podcasts as a way to stay informed and to unwind from constant textbook reading. Unfortunately, I’ve had to put podcasts on the back burner, but because of this month’s affirmations, I decided it was time to check back in with some of my favorite podcast hosts. Tuning in, I’m finding there are some ways to look at sustainability that I hadn’t considered. October 2017 Affirmations

Even though I love the summer sun, I look forward to the crisp autumn air and a time for change with October approaching. One of my favorite things about this month is how it signifies a time for all of us to turn a new leaf. Although this term usually refers to recovery after shocking events, even if you aren’t recovering from difficult circumstances, fall is always a time for moving forward. Looking back on September’s affirmation, I find that I have changed a great deal, shedding my possessions and realizing how little I needed them.
